Guadalupe Hall is UTSA’s newest residence hall and it is where first-year students in the Honors College live.
With nearly 200 fully-furnished double-occupancy bedrooms, the hall was designed with student success in mind. Each room includes two extra-long twin beds, desks and closet space.
Each wing of every floor is split into two sub-communities of 16 to 17 residents who share a bathroom. Each bathroom has one fully private bathroom that includes a shower, sink and toilet. The rest of the bathroom includes three private shower stalls, three private toilet stalls and three sinks. Residents can only enter their assigned sub-community bathroom by swiping their ID card.
The four-story building includes study lounges, community lounges, community kitchens, laundry rooms, group study areas, and a multipurpose seminar room where small classes and events are held.
Java City Coffee is located on the ground floor and is a popular spot for students across campus to grab a latté and hang out with friends.
