Volunteer helping new students move into residence halls
UTSA Housing and Residence Life is seeking faculty and staff volunteers to help create a warm, welcoming experience for students during Move-In Week, taking place August 18–22.
During this busy period, thousands of new and returning Roadrunners will arrive on the Main Campus to move into their residence halls. Expect increased foot traffic, vehicle congestion near housing areas, and plenty of excitement as students and families settle in for the new academic year.
Volunteers will serve in a variety of important roles, such as greeting students and their families, giving directions, distributing carts or bins, passing out water, and helping carry light items. This is a great opportunity to show your Roadrunner spirit, connect with students and families, and help make their transition to campus life smooth and memorable.
